There are several things we truly enjoy about Intergalactic Brewing Company. First and foremost, they brew very tasty beer. And you can always count on them to offer a wide variety of styles on their menu board, something not all San Diego breweries do. Lastly, besides the countless pieces of Star Wars memorabilia inside the tasting room, you can usually find at least one Star Wars themed beer on tap as well.
In our last visit to Intergalactic they were pouring Red Leader Red Ale, Force Shock Bock, and Walking Carpet Brown, named after everyone’s favorite bowcaster-toting wookie Chewbacca. Actually, the name was a reference to the insult Princess Leia unnecessarily hurled at him while sneaking around the Death Star in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope:
